Random Color Generator
The Random Color Generator produces a fresh color on every click and shows it simultaneously as HEX, RGB, and HSL values, ready to copy into a stylesheet, design tool, or slide deck. How it works: each generation picks random values across the color space and converts them into all three notations, so you never have to translate formats by hand — a common source of off-by-one color bugs when copying between tools that expect different formats. It is useful when a project needs an accent color and staring at a color wheel has stopped producing decisions: generate a few candidates, screenshot the ones that work, and test them against your layout. Designers use it to break out of habitual palettes; developers use it to generate placeholder colors for prototypes and data-visualization test data; teachers use it to demonstrate how HEX, RGB, and HSL describe the same color differently. Tip: when a generated color is close to what you want, note its HSL values and adjust only the lightness channel to fit it into an existing palette. You can also browse the other tools on the Spark Site home page or search the collection on the tool search page.
